In plain words
What is Inout Webmail
The Inout Webmail script — PHP software you install on your own server. One installation manages every domain you add.
That one installation is not repeated per domain: you add domains in the admin panel and create as many mailboxes as you need across all of them. Examples are [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected].
Inout Webmail also includes AI, so people can draft mail more easily, and MCP, so you can connect it to Claude and other AI platforms and send mail from there when you need to. You can turn MCP and AI on or off for specific users.
Both options license the same script: the monthly license fee (USD 20/month while subscribed) or a one-time license fee. Either way includes these features plus chat and email support per your license terms. We can install the script on your server once, at no charge.
The benefits
Why buy Inout Webmail
Run it under your brand, on your own server, with a bill that does not climb with every mailbox.
Monthly license fee, not per seat
The Inout Webmail license costs USD 20/month as a monthly license fee while subscribed — no per-mailbox fees. Or pay a one-time license fee instead.
Your brand, your domains
White-label it and run mail for every domain your organization owns from a single installation — not your end customers’ domains, and no second deploy per domain.
See how multi-domain worksNo control panel needed
Runs on your own Linux server without cPanel or Plesk. A web installer walks you through setup.
Ready for AI assistants
Draft mail with built-in AI, and connect Claude or other AI platforms through MCP. You can turn that access on or off for specific users.
See how MCP worksYour data stays yours
Self-hosted, so you control privacy, compliance and where data lives.
Unlimited users
Built for large numbers of users, so you can keep the same installation as your business grows.
Multi-domain
One installation. Every domain you run.
Add domains you own whenever you need them inside the same installation, and manage all of them from one admin panel. You do not install Inout Webmail again for each domain. Built for companies that operate multiple domains directly — separate brands, regions, or product lines you control.
Example domains
-
Addresses on every domain
Your team registers addresses on your own domains — for example [email protected] and [email protected] on the same system.
-
Host it here or connect elsewhere
Run a domain’s mail on your own server, or connect that domain to mail you already have.
-
Open or close sign-up per domain
Decide which domains accept new registrations, and switch any of them off when you need to.
New · MCP support
Let your AI assistant use your webmail
Connect Claude or Cursor to your own webmail through MCP. Your assistant can look up your account and send email as you, through the same stack as the web app.
- Claude in the browser: sign in with your webmail login and approve once
- Cursor and Claude Desktop: a small bridge on your computer with your personal token
- Your own scripts: a REST API with the same token
Example conversation
-
Claude in your browser
Add your MCP address as a custom connector, choose “Sign in now”, log into webmail, and click Allow.
-
Cursor and Claude Desktop
Copy the ready-made configuration from your settings, paste it in, and you are connected.
-
A personal token for every user
Create it under Mail → Settings → API access. It is shown once, can expire in 30 days, 90 days, or a year, and you can revoke it any time.
-
A REST API for your scripts
The same token works for direct calls: check health, read the signed-in profile, and send mail.
-
You stay in control
Turn MCP and AI on or off for specific users. Tokens are stored as hashes, and each user keeps up to 20 active tokens.
-
Sends like the web app
Mail goes out as the signed-in user through the same sending stack as the web interface.
Today the assistant can read your account profile and send email. Users must sign in to webmail once before creating a token.
How it compares
Why choose it over the alternatives
Hosted email rents you a mailbox. With Inout Webmail on your server — subscribe monthly or buy once — you run the script yourself, with your brand on it and your data on your server.

Mobile apps
Android & iOS app licenses
Optional add-ons on top of your Inout Webmail script license. Native apps connect to your server — not a separate hosted mail product.
Requires an active Inout Webmail script license (monthly or one-time). Native apps need the app package licenses below. App deployment support is optional — only if you want our help publishing to the stores; many teams handle deployment themselves.

FAQ
Questions you might ask
Straight answers, limited to what the script includes.
What are the minimum server requirements?
Plan for a plain Ubuntu 24.04 server with at least 2 GB RAM and 50 GB disk space, plus Apache or Nginx, PHP 8.2+, and MySQL or MariaDB. You also need a mail engine (Postfix and Dovecot on the same server, or an external IMAP/SMTP host). No cPanel, Plesk, or hosting control panel is required. See the full requirements list.
Do I need cPanel?
No. Inout Webmail is built for a plain server (we recommend Ubuntu 24.04). cPanel, Plesk, and similar panels are not required. You do need a mail engine: Postfix and Dovecot on your server, or an existing IMAP/SMTP mail host. Minimum RAM and disk are 2 GB and 50 GB — see server requirements.
Can I manage multiple domains on one installation?
Yes — and you only deploy Inout Webmail once. Add domains from the admin panel; every mailbox for those domains runs in that same installation. You do not install a separate copy per domain. Host mail on your server or connect a domain to an existing mail host, and open or close sign-up per domain. See how it works.
Is there a mobile app?
You get a responsive mobile interface in the browser. Optional native apps need app package licenses (Android + iOS combined: USD 10/month extra on your base license). App deployment support is optional — only if you need help publishing — at USD 480 one-time combined for Android and iOS. See mobile apps.
Can it be customized?
Yes. Customization is available when you want changes beyond the standard script. Get it customized.
Is USD 20 the license fee?
Yes. USD 20/month is the monthly license fee for the Inout Webmail script while you stay subscribed. It renews each month. The one-time license fee (from USD 497) is a separate way to license the same script. See pricing or Buy Now.
Do I need a separate installation for each domain?
No. You run one installation of Inout Webmail on your server. Add as many domains as you need inside that install. Multiple domains does not mean multiple installations.
What support is included?
While you pay the monthly license fee, your license includes chat and email support. One-time licenses include support per those license terms. We can help install the script on your server once, free of charge.
Can I connect Claude or Cursor to it?
Yes. MCP support lets an AI assistant read your account profile and send email as you. Claude in the browser signs in with your webmail login, and Cursor or Claude Desktop use a personal token. See how it works.
Is it self-hosted?
Yes. You host it, so you control privacy, compliance, and where your data lives.
