Re:Trying to send email, not working...
Hi Eric,
I think there is a limit for your mysql db. In some server they allow only a few emails to send per hour. So please check this limit and send mail using this limit. If your server allows you to send 20000 mails per hour, please create a cronjob with a high frequency(everyminute, ever 10 minutes etc) and use a small queue length. Otherwise there is chances for db die out. Thanks and regards Jubin |

how do I do that? or how do I see my server limits? I have a dedicated server, so I'd think I'm clear, but maybe not?

Hi Eric,
Could you please ask your server guys about the mail limit? They can help you in this issue. The guidelines of cronjob is given here. http://www.inoutscripts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12&highlight=cron&page=3 Regards Jubin |

Hi Eric,
We are sorry for the delay in response. Is it a problem with the limit? Can you send at lease 1 mail from your server? If yes the script is working and you can send mail upto the limit of your server. To check the limit, please ask your server guys about the email limit per day/hour. Thanks and regards Jubin |

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Trying to send email, not working...
that's not my issue. my issue is...when I schedule my blast, if I set the queue to 125 for example, that's all it sends...I know its not my server, I set the server limits...I used PHPList and sent up to 20,000 emails in an hour...its a dedicated server....the other problem is, even after sending the 125, the campaign didn't update..meaning, it didn't show that 125 were sent or the stats or anything.....so it works, but doesn't really work....make sense? Can I send my login info for someone to look at? I mean, I paid for the script, so I'm hoping that someone can at least help me get it working as advertised and stop passing me off the my server admins....

Hi Eric,
That problem has been fixed. In the config file you set $time_interval=60. That was the problem . We reduced it to 1 ,thus it working fine. Please check it. Thanks and regards Jubin |

thanks! I will check. Can you explain to me what that means? setting it to '1'. I guess I didn't understand....:(
Basically, I'm trying to understand the difference between the queue and the time_config |

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Trying to send email, not working...
Hi,
If you set the time interval as 60, that means it will take 60 seconds to send the mail to the second recipient after the first. So to send a mail to 10 email addresses, it will take 600 sec. or 10 minutes. So please make it 0 or a less one. Queue length is the no. of emails that can send on a single click. If you set it as 100, you can send a mail to 100 email addresses on a single click. Thanks and regards Jubin |
